Hellofestival is coming! I attended the event every year, Each of it is truly a mindblowing and unforgottable moment.

Let's start from my favorite corner, House of Dollores. What is Dollores? It means dolls from resin. They arranged georgeously in one exibit. Everything was so steampunk and beautiful! Let's take a peek..

The Mr. Einstein (I called him so, dunno his real name lol sorry sirre!). He is the Picasso of all paintings in House of Dollores:

And here are the Dolloreses:

These still preeties are made by an Australian man who work as an Art Director in one of the Indonesian TV channel (CMIIW) I didn't able to get some photograph of him cos I saw him resting at that time. I supposed he is really tired. Yknow, being there for up to 6 hours answering same boring question from random visitor like me, haha

They also have masks for sell, too bad I can't afford it :( But they are free to wear! yay for camwhoring!

Excuse me I am apologize :))

If you interested by their work, do give them to GOODGUYSNEVERWIN toy co.

I read that they have their own island at Kepuauan Seribu as their studio to build these masterpieces! How envious :(

Afterall the main dish of this event is on the showroom. Here we can see lots of people wears their cool costume and makeup, then shows us a play about many interesting things.

I found this Cosplay segment has became a regulars of any event that has (even a very tiny bit) Japanese content. But Hellofest cosplayer always have something special every year. I didn't inside the theater room, but my friends did.

Isrol Triono Artwork
He is a very talented illustrator! thats my first impression. And I didn't get it wrong, since he created some wonderful fine arts (check his MP) And it happens the he loves to do woodcut/xylography, it is wood engraving, and the oldest known relief printmaking technique. I've ever learn about that in my college and it's so harsshhh... yet he's been able to do it very smoothly. Well done bang Isrol! Sorry I'm using your desk before haha.

Oh and be sure you checked ATAPALIS, in the base camp they create woodcuts, teach english, math, etc and play games with local children. So much fun! Some ATAPALIS guys are also coming along with bang Isrol, I met mbak Guci and Metal \m/ yeah, he is as metal as his name!

At Indonesian comic stand I met Mrs. Ellen. Her face is so cute! Sorry I thought you are a high-schooler or college at the first glance. But it turns out that she is already married with a great Illustrator :'D so she told me alot about being illustrator, etc. She is very kind and friendly, I mean it! She asked me to do some drawing (she prepared some special paper with to-be-continue-d illustration, I should finish the illustration based in my own interpretantion) at first, I said no cos afraid of being the worst piece ever seen haha. But later on I couldn't resist anymore, who cares about being the worst anyway, it's just for fun :p

I met lots lots more wonderful magical people! Ahh it feels so intoxicate! I hope I'm able to know more great people like them, furthermore I want to be great person like them!

At the end of the day I REALLY feels should buy something! I WANT WANT WANT some of the handicrafted items but can't afford it :(( I fully concerned not to haggle their creations. It's priceless actually. So let's just pick anything fits to my wallet :'D

In the right there was Mbak Erie, I forgot what's her job but I remember it's sort of national-wide art director for komikus Indonesia.. Um, something like that. In short, great lady. tehe

Well do you realize how long this post is?!$#!%$@
I might be overrated this event, but really, it's the best event I have attended in 2010. I'm looking foward for HF 2011!
